Doodle Buddy app for IPod touch and iPad

This is a great app for the child in your life! This app is basically the same as grabbing some markers and doodling on some paper without the mess. You can change the color of your doodles, add all kinds of fun things, or just simply erase and start all over again. It's a great app for kids ages 1-5. Any kids over that would get bored with this app pretty quick. This app is far better for the IPad just simply because of the larger screen that it has. Overall I would give this app a 10 out of 10 if using for kids ages 1-5. If you don't have any children that age then don't bother with this app.

Flick Kick Field Goal App Review for Apple Ipod Touch and Apple iPhone

This is an amazingly fun app for only 99 cents. You have multiple different game modes including single player and multi-player. You also have to decide which way you want to play the game. You can choose from Arcade, Precision, Sudden Death, Time Attack, or Practice. Each one of these is fun in their own right. The end goal of each one is to score as many field goals as possible. This app is loads of fun for anyone age 10-12 and up. Most younger players would not have the patience to kick the ball through the uprights over and over trying to achieve a high score. On a scale of 1-10 I would give this app 8.5. The only thing I do not like about this app is that it would get boring after playing it for a few hours. Hint: (when you make multiple fields goals in a row at perfect center of the posts your ball will get on fire and will allow your score to multiply a lot faster.)

Labyrinth 2 App Review for Apple Ipod Touch and Apple Iphone

This app has 2 different modes. It has single player and multi-player. The object of the game is to tilt your device and move the metal ball from the starting point to the goal. There are of course many different obstacles that stand in your way. Steady hands are a must for this game! The only way to play is when you are stationary. The game is impossible to play when in a moving vehicle. You are timed and the goal is to beat the time of the level's designer. It is a very fun game to play, but does get to a point where the levels seem impossible to pass. The only reason I don't wholeheartedly recommend this game is the price. It costs $4.99 in the app store! That is a very high price to pay and in my opinion a deal breaker for this game. If it was only .99 I would recommend everyone I know to download it, but at $4.99 your money is better used to download multiple games!

Burn the Rope App Review for Apple Ipod Touch and Apple Iphone

Burn the rope is a very basic game. I downloaded it, played it a few times and haven't touched it since. The premise of the game is very simple. You just start a fire on the rope and rotate your touch device so that the fire burns up the rope. This game is not worth the $.99 unless it is for a child. As an adult, this game is pretty lame!

Baseball Superstars 2 App Review for Apple Ipod Touch and Apple Iphone

This is one of the best and addictive apps that I have downloaded and used. It has 7 different modes that you can use (Season, Tournament, Match Mode, Exhibition, Home-run Race, Mission Mode, My League) Every single one of these modes has something different to offer. If you play in season mode you control every thing about the team. Every hit and every pitch is controlled by you the user. In my league you create a player, either batter or pitcher, to use. Exhibition mode is when you can just play as a regular team. Match mode is where you can play online versus other players around the world. (many of them have skills far superior to mine) This app is well worth the money that it costs as it is a game you can enjoy for hours at a time. You can upgrade your teams equipment and skills as you play more and more. There is never a dull moment with this app!

Zombieville USA App Review for Apple Ipod Touch and Apple Iphone

Zombieville USA is a great game that I personally love. The storyline of the game is very simple. You are one of the last people on the earth. Most of the planet has become zombies. You get different weapons by purchasing them with money that you get. You get money by killing zombies and by entering the houses on each level. As you pass each level, you can buy health, better guns, and better clubs to bludgeon the zombies. As you pass each level there are more and more zombies and different kinds (Super fast, harder to kill etc.) You could spend hours on end playing this game, as I have done just that. The levels get progressively harder until you get to the point where you simply can't kill the zombies as fast as they are coming at you any more. On a scale of 1-10 I would definitely give this game a strong 10! Hours of fun packed into a little game. You can download a lite version for free through the app store or the full version for only $1.99. I would recommend downloading the lite version, getting used to it, then downloading the full version for hours more of fun!

Cars 2 Game app review for Apple Ipod Touch or Apple Iphone

The Cars 2 game came out pretty soon after the release of the movie Cars 2. The game is geared very much towards kids. Anyone over the age of 10ish would get bored with the game very quickly. You can play the game as Mater, Lightning, Holly, or Finn. You then choose your difficulty level (Easy, Medium, Hard) Once you begin playing your goal is to make it to the end of each level by jumping over obstacles. The game is extremely easy and isn't a complicated game at all. Could be a lot of fun for any younger child to play. The cost is only .99 but unless you have kids the cost isn't worth the buck!

Battleship App Review for Apple Ipod Touch or Apple Iphone

I just downloaded the Battleship game for my iPod touch. I absolutely loved playing this game as a kid and now I get to enjoy it on my iPod. This game has a couple of different modes that you can play. It has classic, same rules as the original game. It also has Salvo mode. In this mode of the game you can shoot as many times as boats that you still have that haven't been sunk. The first turn you get you can fire 5 times etc. I prefer this mode as the game is over quicker than just playing the classic mode. It also had Super Weapons mode and multiplayer as well. The Super Weapon mode is pretty confusing and I really don't play it often at all. With multiplayer mode, you can play with other people on the same device or over the internet. On a scale of 1-10 I rate this game an 8. I would rate it a ten but when you are positioning your boats if you move the device at all it randomly moves your boats to a new spot. That gets really annoying if you are in a car etc.

Rat on the Run App Review for the Apple Ipod Touch or Apple Iphone

Rat on the Run is a fun game to play. Your goal as the rat is to go about the game and collect cheese while aviding the spiders and slime that try and kill you. The game is alot of fun, but it also comes with a bonus game, Rat on a Scooter. I personally prefer that game over the original game. In the Rat on a Scooter game you are on a scooter and you have to jump from platform to platform collecting the cheese without missing a jump as the platforms move up or down and get larger or smaller. A very basic premise but alot of fun to play is a great way to describe this game.

Continuity 2 App Review for Apple iPod touch or Apple Iphone

I just downloaded this game today and it is loads of fun to play. You are basically a little stick man trying to get coins and a key to get from level to level. You have three big boxes that you can move the man from one to another trying to get him to the end door in the quickest time. A great game I would recommend for anyone who likes puzzle type games.

Doodlejump App Review for Apple Ipod Touch or Apple Iphone

Doodlejump is an awesome game no matter what your age. All you have to do to play is move your device side to side and cause the doodle to land on a platform. As you become more experienced, you get more and more points as you climb up higher and higher. The concept is quite simple but very addictive to try and beat your own score or the scores of others. The only thing about this game I don't like is that the game is not always the same so sometimes it is easier to get a higher score than others.

Cut the Rope App Review for Apple Ipod Touch or Apple Iphone

Cut the rope is a very entertaining game where you are trying to get some candy to the little monster. He is very hungry and it's your job to feed him. All you need to do is cut the ropes one at a time to get the candy to the little monster. The object is to try and get the stars along the way before you get the candy to the monster. It is a fun game, but more of the kind of game for kids ages 8-12.

Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio App Review for Apple Ipod Touch or Apple Iphone

All three of these Angry Birds games have full and lite versions. The lite versions are relatively easy to pass once you get the concept of the game. After downloading the lite version and passing it, it is definitely worth buying the full version. The full version of Angry Birds has over 250 different levels to try and pass. If you have never played Angry Birds before the game is simple. You simply pull back the giant sligshot and shoot the birds at the pigs. As the game progresses you get more and more birds with more ways to kill the pigs. Of all the games that I have played, Angry Birds is one of the best. It keeps you coming back again and again to try to destroy those little pigs.

Air Penguin is a very addictive game. You can download the lite version for free or the full version for $.99. I personally prefer games that ofer lite versions for free so you can try out the game and see if you like it. The controls and concept of the game are very simple. The game is alot of fun to play but the only problem is you might getr tired of doing the same thing over and over. For only $.99 it's a pretty good game
